*Alebiosu, others re elected as Oyo SWAN new executives*The Sport Editor of Nigerian Tribune, Niyi Alebiosu has been re elected as the Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Oyo State Chapter.
Also re elected is the BCOS man Adewale Tijani, who was returned as Oyo SWAN Secretary while Dapo Okunubi of Inspiration FM emerged as the new Treasurer of the Association.
At the inauguration of the new Oyo SWAN executives are the Chairman of Oyo NUJ, Comrade Ademola Babalola, SWAN B zone Vice Chairman, Comrade Femi Amusan, the Chairman of Ogun SWAN, Alhaji Akeeem Akintunde, the Secretary of Oyo NUJ, Comrade Sola Oladapo and the Treasurer of the Oyo NUJ, Comrade Akeem Abas.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Comrade Ademola Babalola who observed the election urged the new Oyo-SWAN executives to ensure that the crisis in the association is amicably resolved.
He advised the new Chairman to invite the aggrieved members of the Association, saying " there's no winner no loser in Oyo SWAN elections."
Speaking on the election, the Chairman Electoral Committee, Comrade Raji Adebayo said the election was keenly contested and the winners emerged through democratic process.
He said the processes of the election was well documented for record purposes, adding that the forms were sold for the period of three weeks before the elections.
