Honourable Lucky expressed disappointment on Nasarawa United.

Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Lucky Isaac has expressed disappointment on Nassarawa United's season so far.


Speaking with pressmen in Ibadan on Sunday where the Solid Miners lost one nil to Shooting Stars, Isaac bemused the absence of key players that propelled the team to a fourth place finish last season.


"I am not comfortable with the position where Nassarawa United is at the moment, after the stanza of the league, things will change. 


Isaac was however in confident mood that things will change when the second stanza of the NPFL resume in two week time.


"The performance of Nassarawa United I think will improve when we come back for the second stanza of the league, he said.


The Solid Miners have endured a troubled season and a currently placed 14th on the log.


Meanwhile, ahead of the first ever Nigerian Para games in Abuja come April, Honourable Isaac was optimistic about his State outing at the event
"We are giving them the support to participate in the para games coming up in Abuja.


We have athletes that are ready and I think this is an opportunity for Nassarawa state to showcase their talent, he concluded.

The capital of Nigeria, Abuja will host the maiden edition of the Para Sports Festival between April 9 - 15, 2022.
